BURRITO STYLE CHILI DOGS
Don’t get me wrong, normal chili dogs are amazing. But when we substituted the bun with a burrito shell, we felt the chili dog was always meant to be grilled in a burrito shell. Using a burrito shell allows you to taste and savor all of the flavors of the chili, cheese, onion, and hot dog whereas the bun overwhelms those flavors. The grilled burrito shell also gives this chili dog an extremely satisfying crunch that you could never get from a bun. Try this version on the chili dog and I promise you will never go back using a bun again.
Provolone cheese
Can of chili with no beans
Hot dogs
Onion
Can opener
Toss hot dogs on grill.
Spread chili in tortilla shells.
Add cheese on top of chili.
Dice onion and add to tortilla shells.
Take hot dogs off grill and wrap each in a chili cheese onion tortilla shell.
Put the burrito style chili dogs back on the grill.
Burritos are done when grill marks are visible and cheese is melted.
Serve!

5 to 6 inch flour tortilla shellsProvolone cheese
Can of chili with no beans
Hot dogs
Onion

How to cook:
If you are cooking with charcoal and the grill isn’t already started, get it started before prep.Toss hot dogs on grill.
Spread chili in tortilla shells.
Add cheese on top of chili.
Dice onion and add to tortilla shells.
Take hot dogs off grill and wrap each in a chili cheese onion tortilla shell.
Put the burrito style chili dogs back on the grill.
