BBQ BACON CHEDDAR BRAT
This phenomenal recipe is a combination of one of the best burgers ever (BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger) and one the best brats ever (BBQ Bacon Cheddar Brat). Pull this recipe out at your next cook out, it will definitely be a crowd pleaser.
Cheddar brats
Bacon
Mild cheddar cheese slices
BBQ sauce
1 yellow onion (optional)
2 tablespoons butter (optional)
Wrap each brat with one or two strips of bacon.
If you would like to top your brat with sautéed onions, cut your onion into slices so that it creates rings.
Toss the onions on the grill with a cube of butter on the top of each slice. Flip when the butter melts.
Toss the brats wrapped in bacon on the grill.
Toast the hot dog buns on the grill for about two minutes.
Assemble brat, cheese, onion (optional) and BBQ sauce in hot dog bun.
